TWS C.U.T. presented by Official San Diego Wrap Up

The sixth and final stop of the 2015 TransWorld Skateboarding Come Up Tour ended with a bang. North County San Diego is notorious for serving as one of the premier skate destinations in the country and that was evident by the level of talent displayed Saturday afternoon. From top to bottom, the DC Skatepark was jam-packed with a powerhouse lineup of 56 contestants. The riders were going all out as they were jockeying for the top prize. In the end, it was 16-year-old San Clemente native, Mateo Rael, who took home first place. Anthony Estrada and Brandon Gonzalez rounded out the podium finishing second and third, respectively. The first place winners from all six stops will have their video parts posted on www.twskate.com next month where the public will vote to decide who will be named the 2015 C.U.T. Series Champion. Thanks to everyone for coming out and to all the skaters that participated. You guys killed it and we had an absolute blast being a part of it!
